This was Imam Hassan's (a.s.) art. Imam Hassan Al-Mujtaba (a.s.) delineated the peace treaty so that the original Islamic movement—which started in Mecca and resulted in the formation of an Islamic government, lasting through the time of the Commander of the Faithful (a.s.), and himself—would continue into another passage. If not in the form of a government—which wasn’t possible anymore—at least in the form of a movement. This marked the third era of Islam.

Preventing girls from education is against Islam

I advise families to let their daughters study. May God forbid that parents, on the pretext of religious observances, think they should stop their daughters from continuing their higher education. No, religion has not said so. Religion does not make any difference between girls and boys when it comes to receiving an education. If your son is following his higher education, let your daughter pursue the same. Let our young girls study, learn, get educated, find their status, and value it; to understand how baseless, and untrue the global imperialism propaganda about women is. Doing sports is not just a profession; it is an aspect of life

I have already talked about sports and I don't know if our youth and athletes have heard my speech, or if they remember. I believe that doing sports is not, in fact, a profession. Doing sports and exercising constitute an aspect of life, just like eating does. Anyone who eats, should also do some exercise. God, the Exalted, has created mankind in a manner, that if you do not exercise, it would affect your body just as it would if you don’t eat or don’t sleep. That is, you would act against your body's requirements. If God the Almighty wanted our bodies to remain indolent, He wouldn't build our bodies with muscles and joints. The joints are there to allow movement. The person who does not walk, does not move, does not use their bodies in difficult times is actually leaving their bodies unused. Thus, doing sports represents an aspect of life. This is my general view of sports.

The Holy Prophet (s.w.a.) carried the message of knowledge, yet there was no knowledge in that society. He was the messenger of morality, leniency, forgiveness, justice, and kindness, yet that society was devoid of such characteristics in the real sense of the word. The society was full of unkind, bullying, immoral, ignorant, and prejudiced people who were unjustifiably arrogant and who had their hearts set on carnal desires.

Who did Imam Ridha plead divine mercy for?

There is a demand for knowledge everywhere. There is a demand for benevolent words and clear knowledge everywhere. Believing in a savior is not exclusive to Shi’ism

Believing in the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) at one time in history is not specific to Shia Muslims. Rather, all Muslims—including Shias and Sunnis—believe in this notion. However, the Shias are privileged in that they know this Savior by name and features, and believes that he is always ready and prepared to receive the divine order. Any time God the Almighty commands him [to reappear], he is ready to initiate the great movement, which is supposed to revolutionize humanity and history. The lesson and the pragmatic and cognitive teaching we need to learn from this notion is significant.
